Melo
Melo – Mental Health & Emotional Wellbeing Support for Young People and Families
Melo is an early intervention and preventative mental health service provided by Onside Advocacy, in partnership with local and specialist organisations. It supports children, young people, and their families from ages 0 to 25 across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
What Melo Offers
Support is tailored to each child or young person’s needs and may include:
One-to-one support with Melo Practitioners to develop coping strategies and emotional tools
Specialist or therapeutic support such as art therapy, play therapy, or music therapy for those with higher-level needs
Group support programmes to build resilience, manage transitions (e.g. changing schools), cope with exam stress, or address specific issues like anxiety or bereavement
Flexible delivery options including in-person sessions, online support, drop-ins, and community-based sessions
Family involvement – parents/carers are included where appropriate, and resources are provided to support the whole family
Who Can Access Melo
Any child or young person aged 0–25 in Herefordshire or Worcestershire who needs early or preventative emotional wellbeing or mental health support

How to Access Melo
Referrals can be made by:
