Parenting brings joy, but it can also be challenging, especially when raising a child with additional needs. Across Herefordshire, there are a range of free or low-cost courses and workshops designed to support parents and carers with practical advice, emotional wellbeing, and peer connection. 

 

What’s Available? 

Here are some of the courses and support options you can access locally: 

 

Triple P Parenting Groups 

Evidence-based programmes offering positive parenting strategies. Versions include: 

  • Standard Triple P 

  • Teen Triple P 

  • Stepping Stones Triple P (for parents of children with disabilities) 

  • Fear-less Triple P (for managing anxiety) 

 

Workshops run by NHS professionals, including:
