SENDIASS
 SENDIASS – Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support Service
SENDIASS Herefordshire is a free, confidential and impartial service for parents, carers, children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). The service is independent from schools and the local authority, so families can feel confident that the support they receive is neutral and focused on their needs.
Who Can Use SENDIASS?
Parents and carers of children with SEND
Children and young people up to age 25 with SEND
Families going through the Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessment or who already have an EHC Plan
What Support Does SENDIASS Provide?
Clear information about SEND law, policy and guidance
Help with EHC Plans – applying, reviewing, and appealing
Support to understand school-based SEND support
Help preparing for meetings, completing paperwork, and asking the right questions
Advice on health and social care issues related to SEND
